I happen to be a good friend of the dear individual who is featured in this news report; and it’s been rather difficult to say the least, observing first-hand some of the things she has had to endure within the nearly 3-year stretch of time that I’ve known her.
Since this-past Sunday (November 8) was International Intersex Awareness Day, it was indeed appropriate that this News Report should be shown during this week.
One thing I must make clear at this point - I haven’t had the chance to review this Presentation; so I do truly hope that it treats my friend and the whole of Intersex Issues in general with the proper sensitivity, wisdom and respect.
